I don't know what to write about. At all. Please guys, I need ideas!
Happy New Year (And Word of the Year!)
Achoo! Sorry... there was so much dust on this blog that dusting it off made my allergies act up. Well, it's certainly been awhile! First, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Instead of making a New Year's Resolution this year, I am going to have a "word of the year". This word is going to carry me through all of 2014. The word that I have chosen? Freedom.
Freedom to be comfortable with who I am.
Freedom to have my own opinions.
Freedom to not let any other person's opinion skew the way that I view myself.
Freedom to see everything with a new perspective.
Freedom to make new friends.
Freedom to see new places.
Freedom to rid myself of all the negative and keep only the positive.
Freedom to put on my rose-colored glasses and be happy.
Freedom to be me.
Freedom to be happy.
So this is my challenge to you, bloggy buddies: Make a word of the year. Choose a word that you can think of during hard times that will make you happy. Choose a word that means something to you. You might not share it with anyone, you might not write it down, you might just keep it in your mind for a rainy day; it doesn't matter. What matters is that you are inspired by your word, that you know that you have chosen one that means something. Chosen one that will keep you moving and lift you higher than you have ever been when you are lower than you have ever been. And you know what? You can pick another one. Whhhaaattttt? Isn't that, like, breaking some sort of rule? Sure, maybe it is. But I am going to break a rule this one time. I'm going to choose a second word, and that word is hope. I think that one is self-explanatory.

I don't have time to write a full post today, so I leave you with this:
"The old man is walking on the beach and spots a young boy tossing starfish laying on the beach into the ocean. The man says "Why are you doing this? There are too many to save. What difference does one make" To which the boy smiles, picks up another, tosses it into the ocean and replies, "it made a difference to this one.""

Saturday Sayings Week Three
Happy Saturday! Sorry I'm not fully back yet :( I will be back soon! There was an incredibly long gap between Saturday Sayings weeks 2 and 3 but here you go! This week's theme? Moving. Moving on, moving away, moving forward...
"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
-Walt Disney
"Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward."
-Victor Kiam
"Don't dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer."
-Denis Waitley
"The greatest thing in this world is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving."
-Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.
"The world is moving so fast these days that the man who says it can't be done is generally being interrupted by someone doing it."
-Elbert Hubbard
"You are always a student, never a master. You have to keep moving forward."
-Conrad Hall
"Everybody has talent, it's just a matter of moving around until you've discovered what it is."
-George Lucas

My Makeup Routine (Version 3.0)
My makeup routine has changed a lot, even since I posted it again last month (?). And last time I was in a rush and kind of cheated by not including links. So here's a better version of my routine!
1. Concealer
2. Foundation (I couldn't find the exact one that I use, so I found something that I think is similar)
3. Powder
4. Blush (In light rose)
5. Eyeshadow
6. Mascara
And when I am typing from my phone, there aren't any link options and if I just copy and paste a link it won't work :( Bear with me please!
