Axolotl
My newest obsession? Axolotls. They are awesomeness. How did I hear of axolotls, you ask? Well, in my geometry class we turn in our homework via Google docs. In Google docs, when all of the class is logged into the same document, they show up as anonymous vulture, or anonymous gopher. We were all wondering why a guy in my class showed up as anonymous axolotl so I Googled them. And now I want a pet axolotl. Can anyone pull some strings for me? Thanks in advance. I prefer a pink female. (I'm joking by the way. Kind of.)

Eyeshadow
Have I mentioned how sorry I am that my posts lately have been a whole lot of nothingness? Well, if I haven't, I am very very sorry. So... I think that my last two posts have been slightly better. Maybe. I don't know. So I need you, my loyal army of neon pink lemurs! I need you to give me ideas about what I should write! Please! It is your lemur-y duty. And besides, I mean you're neon pink lemurs, could it get any better than that? No. It could not.
Sorry if I'm a little... absent. We are moving in 30 days! Can you believe that?? So when I'm not packing, I'm trying to finish The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare by Sunday. Normally I read really fast, like my parents used to say "READ SLOWER! I'm sick of taking you to the bookstore every other day!" so then they would take me once a week- once every two weeks and get a bunch of books. Lately though... I've had the attention span of a squirrel. And not a neon pink one either. A plain old brown one. Not even with cute buck teeth. No. A plain-old-everyday squirrel. See what I mean? I don't even remember what I was talking about! ARGH!!!!!!
Sooo... today I am going to post links to my favorite-est eyeshadow palettes. And actually... I think that they are all made by Too Faced. I am in love with Too Faced. So here goes nothin'!

Summer Eyes I'm fairly certain that I will still be wearing this in the Winter. I know... I'm a horrible fashion blogger. Wearing summer shadows in the dead of winter. Forgive me?

And also, don't you think that the new template looks... sophisticated? I think it does! Bye Bye everyone! And I figured out what all of the traffic was :( It was spam. Oh well! Even if I only have the 5 people reading this blog that said they were... at least someone is reading it.

Alright so... this post will probably gain me a lot of hate, and maybe have me lose a reader or two. But it's how I feel, it's what I think. I normally don't write anything serious, and I don't normally write anything too thought provoking.
I support gay marriage. How would you feel if you loved someone, you loved someone with all of your heart and all of your soul but you couldn't get married. You couldn't get married because people didn't approve of your relationship. People didn't approve of who you loved. People didn't understand.
The Declaration of Independence says "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness".
Do you think that the Founding Fathers said this so that we could pick and choose whom we wanted to give these rights to? Do you think that marrying the person you love is not life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness? Do you think that it is your position to judge who someone loves? Is it hurting you in any way, shape, or form?
And I don't care if you think that it's "not right". Well, for a while, people said that it wasn't right for a black person to marry a white person. Do you think that that was okay?
Other people say that it's not okay because they can't create children. What about someone who is sterile? Should they not be able to get married because they cannot create children with their spouse? No. Because that's not right.
And they can have kids. One of them could have a child, whether it be with a donor or a surrogate.
And if you think that it is because of religion that you think that it is wrong? I am a Christian, and I still think that it's okay. Do you think that God put us on this world to be unhappy? Do you think that he doesn't love us enough to want what's best for us?
Am I gay? No. But a lot of our family friends are. And I like them just as much. So please, please, try to be more accepting. Try to change your mind. I know that my blog post isn't going to change the world. But if even one person reads this and changes their mind, then even one person can make all of the difference. I know that this won't happen quickly. I know that it's going to be slow. But please, please, please at least listen to me.
And if you are out there, and you are afraid to come out, or you're confused. Trust me. Everything will be okay. I promise you.

Confession
Okay... so I have a confession (braces for impact) I don't read fashion blogs. *gasp* I don't. I never want anyone to be able to say "YOU STOLE MY IDEA"! And if they did? I could honestly tell them that I don't read their blog.
I want what I write about fashion and makeup to be my opinion and my opinion only. I don't want to be influenced by someone saying that pink and green is the latest fashion trend. Because then if I said it, then there would be that annoying little nagging feeling in the back of my brain saying "Is that really your opinion?" and then I would erase the post. So, yeah.

My Makeup Routine
I haven't done a makeup routine in a while, and it has changed a lot so I thought that I would do another one! My routine takes maybe 10-15 minutes, but I can do a quick "Five Minute Face" when needed. Okay, so maybe 10-15 is an exaggeration. Maybe 5-10 minutes, but it takes a whole lot longer when I mess up my eyeliner (Happens all. the. time.) and have to start all over again.

Hello there, Lemurs!!!!
Hello out there! If you are new to my army of lemurs ahem, I mean readers, welcome!!!!!!!! And also, if you are offended by being called a lemur... I'm very sorry. That is my new thing. My readers will be known as lemurs from here on out. Yes. You are now a lemur. You're welcome.
And also, I'm very sorry... The signature doesn't work on mobile posts. Well it does, it's just all cut off and funky and you can only see a flower and "LO" which totally kills it. So if you want to be amazingly wonderful lemurs, please look at my blog from a computer so that you can appreciate the awesomeness of my 2.5 hours in the making signature! I mean, just for reading this you are an amazing lemur... It just requires you to look on the computer to be called an amazingly wonderful lemur. Just kidding. Kind of.
Oh and yes, I know yesterday I said it took me an hour to make the signature. But I was too embarrassed to admit that it actually took 2 and a half hours... But then I figured "eh. Why not?" so I decided to tell you. That way maybe you would take pity on me and look on your computer or tablet. Hint hint, nudge nudge.

I get horrible bags under my eyes. It's frightening, really. I look like a zombie. Or a corpse. Or are those the same thing...? I don't even know. So anyway, I was on the hunt for concealer. Which I found. And then hated. But then I found one that I love.
It's a concealer crayon made by Josie Maran. I bought it at Sephora, but they are currently out of the crayons online, so you probably have to buy it in stores. It is amazing. Amazing. Seriously. Go away from the computer or your phone, get in the car, drive to Sephora and purchase it. I'll wait.
'Kay, you back? Now test it out. You love it right? Yeah that's what I thought. It's not cakey, it doesn't dry out your skin and make it look like you have a ton of concealer under your eyes and it works. I use it under my eyes and as a spot concealer. And it's moisturizing. Think I've used enough italicized words in this paragraph? Hmmm... maybe not, let me add another. There. Okay, enough of that.
So yeah, it's my must-have beauty product. Must. Have. I tell you. YOU MUST HAVE IT. And I think that me wasting my money on more makeup that I don't need is community service. Those bags under my eyes can be scary sometimes, lemme tell ya.

I'm Sorry For Spamming You.
Since I've already spammed your newsfeed, I thought that I would write one more post. Just for you. The readers. Ahahahahaha I am so sorry. Anyway, what do you think of the signature and new header? Would you believe that it took me an hour to figure out how to get my signature at the bottom of every post? I edited the code, I added countless CSS thingies and oh my word I finally did it. Does everyone have this much trouble or is it just me?? Seriously though...
And also, at 1:15 p.m. I had 1,770 pageviews. At about 2:30 I had 1795. And now (3:46) I have 1,825. What happened? I would like to think that that many people have read my blog in the last 2.5 hours but... did you??? Did you like refer my blog to your friends or something?? If you did, God bless you. If you didn't? God bless you as well.
And ahhhhhhh I'm so excited I could cry about the new header and the new signature! Figuring out the header isn't that much of an issue, it's a 2 second process to change it. But... the signature? Blush
Blush. No, not the blush that happens when the cutest guy in school chooses the exact moment that you have a mouthful of food to try to talk to you (That's happened to someone else, right? Please tell me I'm not the only one). I'm talking about the blush that you purposely put on your cheeks.
I've never ever been a fan of cream blush, I feel like it's too cake-y. And it makes you look... like... um... well I can't exactly come up with an analogy for that one. But anyway, I thought that I would share my tips.
Everyone should wear blush differently. Most people say to make a Nike swoosh on your cheekbones. I say that that makes me look surprised all the time. But that's just me, it will look different on everyone. I usually just brush it (very lightly) across my cheekbones.
Different shades for different skin tones! And different shades for how you prefer to apply it. If you put a lot on, go with a light shade unless you want to look like you just got slapped across the face. I use a light peach-ish pink color. I only own two shades of blush. One is from the Marilyn Monroe Mac Cosmetics line and the other is a sparkly one made by Elf. Not my best choice... it's too dark for my skin and I look like I've been slapped. But if you only put on a little bit, you can go with a darker color if you want. I don't really like my blush to show, it's just to add a little color to my face so I don't look like a corpse. Somehow people don't find that attractive... I wonder why...
If your skin is darker, you should use a darker shade of blush, because a lighter one won't show up. If you have lighter skin you should use a lighter blush because too dark of a blush will make you look verrrrry scary.
And one last tip: If you put on too much blush, add a thin layer of foundation over the top. Not that I've ever done that. Ahem.

Dolly is 5, and she is a yorkie. I call her "Bear Bear" she actually won't respond to me (only me) if I don't call her Bear Bear. Georja (Yes, it's spelled that way) is an almost 3-year-old shih tzu, and she's the biggest cuddle bug ever. All she wants is for someone to hold her. Joe Schmoe? Sure, as long as he will rub her belly. His daughter, Sally Schmoe? Of course, she just wants a treat. And last but not least... Elphaba just turned 1 and she's a yorkie. We call her Elphie (Or when she's naughty it's "ELPHABA ANNE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" but anyway... she's so naughty. But so cute. And she knows it. She knows that she's adorable and if she turns on the charm she won't get in too much trouble.

Random. Very very random.
Confession: I schedule posts for 1-2 weeks at a time to post every other day. I know... I'm horrible. But I would rather write a lot one day and have things being posted all the time than having absolutely nothing. Radio silence.
So I suppose that I should share the reason for my absence, because trust me, it's not that I don't love you all. Because I really really do. It's because I'm moving... and packing at light speed. And the time that I'm not packing... I'm watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
And also, what would happen if a pigeon (rat with wings) flew into a bag of Cheetos? A little one, not a big one. Could it fly away? Um, yeah, that's one of the random things that flashes through my mind at all times.
